About Urban Pet Supply
Ten years ago I left my design career in search of a more fulfilling life. I was deeply affected by the first dog I adopted as an adult and felt that working with animals was my calling. Queenie was a German Shepherd rescue that I adopted when she was about three years old. She was my soul mate, she taught me how intense and valuable connection with animals can be. I wanted more of my life to be in the presence of pure souls like her. I started a pet sitting business and have never regretted a minute of those ten years. I achieved the fulfillment and connections that I was searching for.
Urban pet supply is a new way to connect with pets and their people. Over the past years working in the pet industry, I have learned how important nutrition and natural products are for pets. Just as we don’t want the poor nutrients of processed foods in our bodies, we don’t want that for our pets either. Fillers, by-products, preservatives and chemicals are harmful to all of us, even our pets. The more natural our food is, the healthier our bodies will be. Animals need a step up, with all the chemicals they are exposed to in basic brand foods, in their shots and in their flea treatments, we as responsible owners need to do our best to provide them with what IS healthy and natural. That is why natural foods are essential for better, longer lives.
